Manage your signing processes

After you have created a signing, you will be able to see this signing process in your E-sign dashboard (when you click the E-signing button in the menu on the left).

Click on the signing you want to manage to view information and status. Check the image below.

  1. Here you can see the status of this signing process. The different statuses are:

    Ongoing:

    - The process is not yet complete and not everyone has signed yet.

    Expired

    - If you have set a deadline for your signing process and that deadline has passed, the signing will receive this status. Note that if a signing process has expired, you will see a new button (next to the Cancel button #3) that allows you to set a new deadline.

    Cancelled

    - If you click the Cancel button (number 3 in the image above), the signing process will receive this status.

    Signed

    - Everyone has signed and the document is now "completed".

    Rejected.

    - If a recipient chooses to reject the document, they will receive this status. This means that the document was not signed and you will need to create a new process if necessary.

  2. Displays the greeting message that was used when the signing process was sent out.
  3. When the signing process is still in the status "Ongoing," you have the option to cancel the process.
  4. Here you can see all recipients and their roles. As you can see, there is a status for each recipient that can be: Rejected, Signed, Approved, Opened (has opened the email and looked at the document), Delivered (email has been sent), Pending (email has been sent but the document has not been opened).
  5. If a recipient has not yet signed or approved, you can change the details such as first name, last name, language, email, and greeting message. Just remember that if you change the email, you need to send a new notification to the user and you do this through #6.
  6. Send out a notification. If the recipient has not signed or approved, you can send out a notification to them. This way, the person receives an email with instructions again on how to sign. Here you can also choose a greeting message like "Hi Peter. I noticed that you haven't signed yet. If you need help, just give me a call."

How do I remove a signing process from the list?

First, the signing process must either be cancelled or expired in order to be removed from the list. If the signing process is ongoing, start by pressing the "Cancel" button to cancel the process. Then you will see that the button (where Cancel was before) changes to "Remove." Clicking on this will make the signing process disappear when you refresh the page.

How do I download the signed document?

When the signing process has the status "Signed," you will have the option to download the signed document if you wish. An email will also be sent to you with the signed document, but you also have the option to download it directly in doCuro. Check the image below for where to find the button to download the document:

How do I change the deadline or extend the signing process?

If you have set a deadline for your signing, you will not be able to sign after that date. You will then see that your signing process has the status: "Expired." When you set a deadline, you will see an extra button called "Change deadline." If you press this, a calendar will pop up where you can fill in a new deadline.

Note that if your signing process has the status "Expired," you can still change the deadline to a date in the future. What you do then is extend the time so that it can be signed again. A tip would be that after you have set a new deadline, send out a new notification to those who have not signed yet. Click on the clock icon next to the person you want to send a notification to.

I cannot find my signing process?

Currently, only an administrator can see all signing processes, and all others can only see the signing processes they have created themselves. You can use the filtering to try to search for your signing process based on its status.
